Given the current economic climate and the need for everyone to make every penny count, we continually strive to keep our prices as competetive as we can while continuing to maintain our high quality standards.
PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED: Paying a deposit for your cake/s order, or paying a final balance, or alternatively, paying for your Cake Supplies Order? In addition to paying by cash upon collection, via BACS transfer or Paypal*, you can now also pay for your order by certain debit/credit cards via a 'pay by link' button on your invoice, with card "Payments Powered by WorldPay". All payments are taken in UK Sterling only
* If paying by Paypal, please be advised that there is an additional fee payable, with each Paypal payment made, that equates to 3.5% of the payment value, plus 20p. We fully appreciate this will increase the value of your order, but unfortunately this is a fee levied on us, even as a small business, by Paypal themselves. Please contact us for further information.
REFUND POLICY: As our cakes and cupcakes are bespoke, personalised and made to order, refunds will only be given when our cakes or cupcakes are either faulty or misdescribed.
If you wish to return any other cake related product or an entire order, then under the Distance Selling Regulations and the Consumber Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, My Way Cakes are happy to refund you on return of the item/s*, providing it is both in a new condition (unused) and complete in all of its original wrapping. You are required to contact us within 14 calendar days of receipt of your goods, and you must return any items, if requested by us, within 14 days of contacting us. We reserve the right to inspect any faulty or misdescribed items prior to refunds being given. Please note that in circumstances where items are returned to us due to a customer having changed their mind, any return postage fees are payable by the customer.
In order to return goods, please contact us via email email@example.com with your full details, including your name, delivery address, contact telephone number, date of your order, invoice number, which items you would like to return and the reasons for doing so. We will then contact you to advise as to whether we will be processing either a refund for all items which are either faulty or misdescribed products, or issuing a credit note for items where you have changed your mind.
* Due to matters of food hygiene and food safety, we are unable to accept returns for any edible products e.g. Sugarpaste etc unless these items are either faulty or misdescribed.
Cake/Cupcake Delivery Terms: Subject to both time, date availability, location (within 5 miles of SS7 5BH) and meeting our minimum order requirements, we will deliver and set up your cake/s (where required) for you free of charge. We are more that happy to undertake deliveries further afield, however, we will require a small delivery charge to cover our costs. Please contact us for further information.
Collection of Cakes in Person: We are more than happy for you to collect your cakes in person, subject to date and time availability and respect for neighbouring properties when parking.
However, while we take every care and effort to ensure our cakes arrive safely, and in one piece at their destinations, once your cake has left our premises you will be entirely responsible for the transportation of your cake and for it to arrive safely at your destination.
All other Cake Related Orders. We work in conjunction with both the Royal Mail and Parcelforce to ensure our cake related products arrive at their destination safely. Our delivery prices are based on overall weight of your order, your location and where necessary, includes charges to cover any Custom & Excise Documentation required e.g. Switzerland.
